Roadside Stories: Queenstown adventures

Thrill-seeking tourists pursue adrenalin rushes around Queenstown, billed as New Zealand’s adventure capital. The world’s first commercial bungy jump began near the town in 1988. Adventurous visitors can also enjoy jet boating (another New Zealand invention) on local rivers, and snow sports in the mountains.

Listen to a Roadside Story about Queenstown's adventure sports. Roadside Stories is a series of audio guides to places around New Zealand.
