Te tō waka

Ka mutu te hahau kia pēnei i te waka te hanga, ka tōia te rākau me ētahi taura rahi, pēnei i te kawititanga o te ringaringa te mātotoru; e rima ngā whiri o tēnei momo taura, e kīia ai taua momo whiri, he rauru. He rākau kei te ihu me te kei o te waka e areare ana; ka wiria he puare ki aua rākau. Kotahi te taura ka herea ki te ihu, e rua taura ki te kei. Ka nekehia te waka mā runga rango – he pai te rākau māota mō tēnei mahi.
