Mō te tikanga neke rākau e kīia ana ko te poipoi; me hōrete he puare ki tēnā pito, ki tēnā pito o te rākau, ka purupuru ki te māhuri rarahi tonu, ka here ki te taura. Mō te tikanga neke rākau e kīia nei ko takawhiti; me here he pou āhua roa ki tētahi taha o te rākau, ka whakamau mā te rou kākahi kei ia pito. Ka herea ngā rou kākahi ki tērā taha kē o te rākau, kātahi ka herea he taura ki te pou hei tō i te rākau.
