Whai muri i ngā wikitōria i Turuturumōkai, i Te Ngutu-o-te-manu me Moturoa, ka waihangatia e Tītokowaru he pā hou ki Taurangaika, tata ki Nukumaru. E whakaatu ana te mahere me te kōkuhu i ngā tauira o te pā, i te raupapatanga o ngā maioro me ngā parepare. I te mutunga iho kāre i whakamātauria te kaha o te pā, nā te mea i ara ake he tohe, ā, kāore ngā hoia a Tītokowaru i whakaae ki te whawhai. Ka whakarērea te pā o Taurangaika i muri.
