Hamilton industries

Plastics and brewing are two Hamilton industries mentioned in this 1948 film, ‘Hamilton, city of service’. Brewing of beer and soft drinks was an industry dating back to the 19th century, whereas when the film was made, the plastics industry was relatively new. In the following decades it grew in importance.
