Town Centre Drive in Botany Downs is designed to resemble a traditional shopping strip. Streets radiate from a circular ‘town square’ (top) and are lined with shops. Different styles and materials help to create the authentic look – but these streets are privately owned. Security guards drive around on golf carts (centre) policing people’s activity.
