Karori

Karori

This view of the expansive suburb of Karori is from Makara Peak. Karori’s elevated position makes it colder than other parts of the city, and prone to cloud and fog. Many residents are attracted by the suburb’s family-orientated facilities and sense of community. The bare patch of dirt (lower left) is the sports ground Karori Park, which was re-landscaped in 2006.
