Technician Jamie Beswarick sculpts a study maquette (clay model) of King Kong for Peter Jackson’s 2005 movie. Weta Workshop is in Miramar, close to Jackson’s film studio. Together they form the nucleus of Wellington’s film industry – jocularly known as ‘Wellywood’.
