Pāraerae – flax sandals

Hangaia ai e te Māori te pāraerae mō ngā pōkaiwhenua roa. Ko te tī kōuka te tino tipu i whakamahia hei whatu i te pāraerae. He maha ngā momo, mō tēnā tū āhua, mō tēnā tū āhua. Ka whakamahia te rau kōuka hei whakakapi mō te harakeke, ā, i ētahi wā, kia rua rawa ngā paparanga mō te raparapa, hei takahi i ngā ara kōhatu.
