Roadside Stories: The equine stars of Cambridge

The thoroughbred studs around Cambridge have produced many champion horses, which are celebrated in a series of mosaics in the town’s pavements. One of the best-known is the legendary stud horse Sir Tristram, who sired 45 prizewinners, including Melbourne Cup winner Empire Rose.
