Nō te tūhuratanga o ngā ahu otaota pēnei ki te rae o Ōngare nei, kātahi ka kite ngā tohunga whaipara tangata ki te whānui o ngā mātaitai i mōhiotia e te Māori. Kua kitea te pipi, te pāua, te pūpū, te tūangi, te tio, te tupa, te whētiko me ētahi atu momo mātaitai ki konei.
