Highlander milk

Highlander milk

Highlander condensed milk was made at a plant at Wallacetown from 1892 until 1964, when production was transferred to Auckland. At a time when most New Zealanders took pride in being part of the British Empire, ‘British’ could refer to New Zealand as well as to the UK.
