Moving from Waikato to Southland

Since the early 1990s dairy farmers have been migrating from the dairy heartland of Waikato in the North Island to Southland, where land is cheaper and droughts are uncommon. In this news item, from 24 February 1992, Wayne Webber describes the advantages of moving south.
