Nā ngā pononga a Te Kooti, te wharenui o Eripitana i whakatuwhera i te tau 1884 ki Te Whāiti, ki roto o Te Urewera. Ko te rerekē o tēnei whare ki ngā whare o te wā, he mea peita ngā whakairo. Ko Eripitana tētahi o ngā momo whare pēnei i hangaia mō Te Kooti. Ko Te Whai-a-te-Motu ki Ruatāhuna, ko Rongopai ki Waituhi, ko Te Aroha ki Pūhā me Te Ngāwari ki Mangatū ētahi o ngā whare ōrite.
