Ninety Mile Beach (3 o 3)

Ninety Mile Beach

Ninety Mile Beach, the wide sandy beach along the western side of the Aupōuri Peninsula, leads toward Cape Maria van Diemen, near the northern tip of the North Island. Vehicles can drive along the beach – but a few partly buried wrecks show the dangers of travelling outside low tide or straying from hard sand.
