E whakaatu ana te mahere ko ngā pā Māori puta noa i te motu. I hangaia ngā pā ki ngā whenua pai mō te whakatipu kumara me te taro. Ko tētahi anō take o ngā pā he wawao i ngā tāngata i te wā o te pakanga.
