I muri i te ūnga ki Whangaparāoa ka hōrapa haere te waka o Tainui. Tōia ai a Tainui mā te whitinga i Tāmaki, kia tae ki tōna takotoranga whakamutunga i Te Ahurei kei te whanga o Kāwhia. I tū anō a Te Arawa ki Whangaparāoa, i mua i tōna ūnga ki Maketū. Nō muri ka tahuna te waka.
