Story: Otago places

Shrek

Shrek

A Merino sheep that had evaded musterers and not been shorn for six years was found on Bendigo station by shepherd Ann Scanlan in April 2004. He was subsequently named Shrek, and his story made international headlines. The children of Tarras School have produced two books about Shrek and a calendar of Shrek pictures, including some taken on the day his coat was shorn.
