Kei roto i ngā ipu ko ngā kōiwi o ngā Māori 35 i whakatauria ki runga o Rongomaraeroa, te marae o Te Papa Tongarewa. Ko ngā kōiwi he toi moko i whakahokia i ngā whare taonga i tāwāhi. Ko Te Papa tonu te kaiwhakahaere i te kaupapa whakahoki mai i ngā toi moko mō te kāwanatanga, arā, ko te Hōtaka o Karanga Aotearoa. I te tau 2014 e 200 ngā kōiwi e mau ana ia Te Papa. He koronga kia whakahokia ngā kōiwi ki ō rātou iwi ake.
