Who wrote this crap? A previously DEMORALISED people? Since when? Waikato had just fended off the Ngapuhi and Pakeha invasions, prohibited alcohol from their lands and successfully established their own monarchy??? When exactly were they demoralised?? Te Puea is rangatira in her own right and i take none of that away from my tipuna, however, tell the REAL story when it comes to how a people presented. Make sure it is truth and doesn't just fit your own narrative.
