Kaikōura means ‘eat crayfish’, and the area is known for its crayfish (rock lobster) as well as whales. This roadside business at Halfmoon Bay, near Rākautara on the Kaikōura coast, has been popular with enthusiasts for the seafood delicacy for more than 30 years.
