Kaputerangi, te pā o Toi

Image
Toi’s pā, Kaputerangi

Ko Kaputerangi te pā o Toi, e tū ana kei runga ake o te tāone o Whakatane o ēnei rā. Koinei tētahi o ngā pā tawhito rawa i Aotearoa. Ko te wāhi mārakerake te wāhi tū ai te pā o Toi. Kei ngā iwi maha ā rātou ake kōrero mō Toi; ehara i te mea e ōrite ana rātou, tētahi ki tētahi. Ki ētahi iwi, he tangata whenua a Toi nō Aotearoa, ki ētahi atu iwi, i noho a ia ki Hawaiki. Ko ōna uri ko Te Tini-o-Toi, ko Te Tini-o-Awa, tae atu ki Te Mārangaranga i Te Tai Rāwhiti, Te Tini-o-Taunga i Te Tai Hauāuru me Ngāi Tūranga kei te puku o Te Ika-a-Māui.
