Kōrero: Family violence

Family violence survey

In June 1978 the New Zealand Woman's Weekly published this questionnaire on family violence from Auckland psychologist Miriam Jackson, who was researching the issue. The survey was one of the first investigations of its kind in New Zealand, and the responses sent in by readers revealed how widespread and insidious the problem was.
