Farming on the Chathams

A 2011 episode of Country calendar looked at the lives of Greg Horler, who arrived on the Chatham Islands in 1977, his wife Rosemarie and their family. It was hard work making a living running a farm and homestay on the islands. Because of fickle weather and the islands’ inaccessibility, transporting stock can be difficult, as Greg explains.
