Farming on the Chathams

A 2011 Country calendar television programme looked at the lives of Greg Horler, who arrived on the Chatham Islands in 1977, and his wife Rosemarie and their family. They run a farm and homestay on the islands, but it can be hard work making a living. Because of fickle weather and the islands’ inaccessibility, transporting stock from the islands can be difficult, as Greg explains.
