Te Whatanui

Te Whatanui was one the great leaders of Ngāti Raukawa ki te tonga (in the south). He is honoured in this carving in Te Tumu Herenga Waka, the meeting house on Victoria University’s Te Herenga Waka marae, in Wellington.
