Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spas is a complex on the site of a natural thermal spa that dates back to the early 1880s. The resort has nine open-air thermal pools, three sulfur pools and four private thermal pools. There is also a freshwater heated pool with waterslides. The venue is very popular with tourists and locals.
