He whakapapa tēnei i tukuna e te pukenga Ingarihi e Edward Shortland; ka tīmata mai Te Pō, ki Te Ao, ki Te Kore ā heke mai ki a Rangi. Engari he rerekē tēnei ki ngā whakapapa ake a te Māori ka tīmata kē mai i Te Kore.
