The Warratahs were formed in Wellington in 1985 by a group of rock and jazz musicians who wanted to play classic country music. In 1987 they achieved hits with their songs 'Hands of my heart' and 'Maureen'. This video features the original band line-up: Barry Saunders (guitar and vocals), Wayne Mason (piano, accordion and vocals), John Donoghue (bass and vocals), Marty Jorgensen (drums) and Nik Brown (violin).
