Boys playing rugby

Video file

This newsreel from 1946 shows primary-school boys learning to play rugby, and then covers secondary school games at Christ's College and then Wellington College – the latter probably a game in the Quadrangular Tournament, which was contested annually between Christ's College, Nelson College, Wellington College and Wanganui Collegiate. Also of interest is the haka by schoolboy spectators at the end.
