Black Magic wins the America's Cup

Video file

In 1995 Team New Zealand's boat, Black Magic, defeated Dennis Conner's boat Young America in the fifth and deciding race to win the America's Cup. Peter Montgomery's description of the final seconds of the race have been much replayed and his comment, 'The America's Cup is now New Zealand's cup' became one of the most memorable sayings in New Zealand sports commentary. For another famous sporting moment on New Zealand television, see the Silver Ferns winning the 2003 Netball World Cup.

Way to ruin an amazing moment with terrible music. Would be nice to hear the original track.
