Cartoon about sport on television

Cartoon about sport on television

Tom Scott's cartoon from March 2009 refers to the fact that Sky TV had a huge investment in the broadcasting of sport, especially rugby, and this required increasing numbers of games to be played and broadcast. By 2009 most major sporting events were covered on viewer-pay Sky TV rather than the free-to-air channels of Television New Zealand and TV3.
