Frederick Spencer Easton took a share in the Moutoa flax estate in 1902, and it helped make him one of Manawatū’s wealthiest businessmen. The son of a butcher and Foxton benefactor, Augustus Easton, Frederick was known as the ‘Moutoa millionaire’. His family’s grand monument is a focal point in Foxton cemetery.

My grandfather was Frederick Spencer Easton and also is my uncle.My dad and his brother,mum,dad lived in that homestead with alot of bedrooms.That was in the 50s and 60s.My grandfather is in that mausoleum.
