Fish shop owners, Wellington

As they mastered the language, some Italian immigrants applied their acumen and spirit of enterprise to small businesses. For those from fishing families, it was a natural move to open up fish shops or to sell fish and chips. Antonio Cuccurullo and Camillo Amitrano were photographed in 1991 at their fish shop in Wellington.
