It became common in New Zealand for former successful sports players to become radio or television commentators. Television New Zealand's commentating team for an international netball series between the Silver Ferns and the Australian Diamonds in 2009 included two former Silver Ferns, Jenny-May Coffin (second from left) and Julie Coney (right). The other members were Jordan Vandermade (left), Kiri Wills (back) and Toni Street (second from right).
