John McBeth

John McBeth is pictured at the Shunyi Canoeing Park during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. McBeth established his national reputation after 1984 as New Zealand's main radio commentator of All Black rugby. After joining Television New Zealand in 1993 he became prominent as a commentator at Olympic and Commonwealth games, and also reported on America's Cup yachting. A highlight of his work was Danyon Loader's two gold medals in swimming at the Atlanta Olympic Games.
