Dressed for golf, 1920s

This stylish couple model the clothing commonly seen on golf courses from the 1920s – a zip-up jacket for men and a matching knee-length skirt and jacket for women. Special golfing shoes, designed to prevent damage to greens, were worn by both sexes, and a sun-shading hat remained de rigueur for women players.
