Dressed for golf, 1951

Ray Kearns blasts out of a bunker at Wellington's Miramar golf course (founded in 1905) in 1951. His jersey and pressed trousers were standard golfing menswear in this period. A tie was not required while playing but was generally essential for access to the clubhouse.
