Sausage sizzle

Sausage sizzle

The humble sausage, wrapped in white bread and smothered in tomato sauce, is a common way for New Zealanders to eat pork cheaply. Sausages cook quickly and are common offerings at barbecues. These children are enjoying sausages at Prospect School's sausage and doughnut day, in Auckland, in 2008.
