Salvation Army armed services club, 1943

With suitcases packed and overcoats folded, young recruits preparing to leave for the Second World War line up outside a Salvation Army armed services club in 1943. The Army set up these clubs for servicemen and their families in New Zealand and overseas during both world wars.
