Ko Te Waimana tēnei i Te Urewera. Ko te kōrero a Ngāi Tūhoe, ka moe a Te Maunga rāua ko Hine-pūkohu-rangi ka puta ko Pōtiki, nāna ko Ngā Pōtiki, he iwi nui nō mua noa atu i te taunga o Mataatua ki Te Moana-o-Toi.
