Te puea i te wai

Hei ngā kōrero a ētahi iwi, i puea ake a Papatūānuku i te wai. He whakahokinga mahara tēnei kōrero ki te wā i noho ngā tīpuna o te iwi Māori ki ngā moutere o Te Moananui-a-Kiwa. He rite ēnei kōrero ki ngā kōrero mō Māui, nāna ētahi o ngā moutere i te Moananui-a-Kiwa i hī ake i te wai.

He oranga i te whenua

I te pueanga o te whenua i te wai, ka hora te mataora ki te ao. Ka tipu ngā rākau, ngā manu, te ira tangata. Ka whānau mai te tangata ki tēnei ao mai te kōpū o Papatūānuku. Hei tōna matenga ka hoki atu anō te tangata ki te kōpū o Papatūānuku. Kāore he mutunga iho o te whanaketanga o te ngākau, o te hinengaro, o te wairua o te tangata. Otirā, i tipu mai ēnei āhuatanga i te whenua, tae rawa atu ki te hiringa i te mahara.

Te whenua hei whakapūmautanga
