One way to restore the geysers

The decline of the geysers at Whakarewarewa caused widespread concern because they were a tourist attraction for Rotorua. In this 1983 cartoon, Nevile Lodge suggested that one way to restore the thermal activity would be to use coal from the nearby Waikato coalfields.
