Well-known names, both English and Scandinavian, appear on this advertising page of Skandia, a Danish-language Palmerston North newspaper. George Snelson was the first mayor of Palmerston North, and Richter Nannestad, a Scandinavian sawmilling partnership. The paper closed after only a few issues.
