Well-known names, both English and Scandinavian, appear on this advertising page of Skandia, a Danish-language Palmerston North newspaper. George Snelson was the first mayor of Palmerston North; Richter Nannestad was a Scandinavian sawmilling partnership. The paper closed after only a few issues.
