Kōrero: Newspapers

Stuff website, 2008

Newspapers responded to the growth in importance of the internet as a news source by creating their own websites. These sites were more responsive to news developments than traditional newspapers, and stories first published online were often replicated in the paper the following day. Fairfax's Stuff website was launched in 2001 and includes online editions of leading dailies the Dominion Post (Wellington) and the Press (Christchurch) as well as numerous regional and local newpapers. This is a screen shot of Stuff from 2008.
