Fitting base isolation bearings

This video clip shows part of the process of fitting base isolation bearings into the Rankine Brown Library at Victoria University. The building piles were cut with a diamond-tipped saw, while the weight of the building was supported by large hydraulic jacks. The video shows how the rubber bearings were then installed.
