One of the most memorable days in New Zealand women's cricket history came on 23 December 2000 at the BIL Oval, Lincoln. In the final of the Women's World Cup the White Ferns made 184 runs. Australia was expected to reach the target but, as this clip shows, they fell four runs short. New Zealand women had won its first world cup.
