Neil Pugmire is interviewed the day he returned to work, after being reinstated in his job as a psychiatric nurse at Lake Alice Hospital by the Employment Court. In 1994 he was fired after going public with complaints that dangerous patients were being released into the community. The Protected Disclosures Act 2000 guarded people making such public allegations in good faith from legal liability.
