CARE and HART protest, 1972

This 1972 television clip shows Trevor Richards of HART (Halt All Racist Tours) and Tom Newnham of CARE (Campaign for Racial Equality) speaking by phone to Dr Danie Craven in South Africa. Craven was president of the South African Rugby Football Union, which planned to send a whites-only Springbok team to New Zealand in 1973.
