Roger Kerr comments on education

Reflecting its broad interests, the Business Roundtable published studies on a range of topics, and its members took an active part in public debate. In 1997 director Roger Kerr argued that the state education system was inbred, largely protected from competition with private and overseas institutions, and lacked accountability. The New Zealand Principals’ Federation disagreed strongly.
